Infected by Deepak Kaul

"Infected" by Deepak Kaul is a captivating adultery read. Although the book is not typically my taste, I decided to give it a try. The main protagonists are Hazel and Abhishek. Hazel, a married woman, is beautiful, friendly, and open-minded, while Abhishek is a charming, well-dressed, serious, and somewhat workaholic man.

Hazel tends to be flirty with everyone in her office, including HR and colleagues, but she particularly likes Abhishek, who is more focused on his work. The question arises: do they ever contact each other? Do they fall in love? To find out more, you need to read the book.

The story is interesting, and the motive is clear. The narrative keeps you hooked, but there are some drawbacks. I felt the author could benefit from a good editor, as the sentences were often incomplete and the text too short. There's a lack of clarity, and the wording can be a bit typical. Perhaps that's why the book is only 36 pages long.

Despite these issues, the motive and conveyance of the story are good. The portrayal of adultery is done neatly without excessive details. I appreciate the author's ability to draw comparisons, such as flirting with Kapil Sharma instead of Ranveer Singh (haha), with pan of cooking tea etc...

The book has both positive and negative aspects of writing, indicating a need for improvement. However, I would still recommend it, especially because I enjoyed the ending. The author has a rich mind for conveying thoughts and messages effectively.

Rating - 3.5/5

Cover:- 2/5 ( need to be improved , much related to the content rather then focused on one thing, overall it should be attractive).
