1700 IN 70 BY GITA BALAKRISHNAN
India is a land of rich culture, heritage, and is well-known for its freedom. Most of the time, I believe that only this land gives you the freedom of everything.
Gita Balakrishnan's story is inspiring and offers much to learn about India and its traditions and culture. At 53, she covers 1700 km in 70 days, from Kolkata to Delhi, passing through various cities, towns, and villages. While reading, believe me, I came across so many things that I may have never heard much about. Gita, an architect by profession, focuses more on architectural sites and landscapes, also showcasing various communities.
This book also focuses on the loss of heritage and lack of knowledge about the culture and architectural sites due to modernization among the commoners. Overall, I can say this tale is crafted to raise awareness about India's rich architecture and much more. A perfect book which not only presents the culture but also represents awareness about fitness ( My inner voice was like look at her ) .A Women can do anything they want.
A smooth read and beautiful journey of GITA BALAKRISHNA. Inclusion of pictures makes this book more perfect and interesting. Overall , I HIGHLY appreciate and RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK.
Looking forward more such inspiring tales ❤️
