This book is incredibly enjoyable and well-researched. When I read the first chapter, I felt the essence of the Northern region—from the enchanting story of the Charkula dance to the inspiring legend Surdas Ji. With each passing chapter, my appreciation for this book grows even deeper. I read it with so much love and passion, and being from the West Zone, I especially enjoy learning about the rich cultural, heritage , about karni mata , tana n riri and more of my region.


The author's writing is fluid and easy to grasp, making the complex Indian culture accessible to all readers. This book genuinely shares a wealth of information about Indian culture and heritage, covering everything from dance forms and music,  to the origin of rivers and the stories of saints and gods. It's exactly my type of reading material, as it value with a profound understanding of life and origins.


I strongly recommend this book to anyone interested in Indian myths , culture and diversity. It offers both academic insights and a deepened appreciation for the diverse traditions that shape India. Such books are invaluable for expanding one's knowledge and understanding of the world.
