The author's portrayal of the characters in the book is beautiful, connecting, and relatable. Ira, Mahalaxmi, and Aditi all have distinct personalities, yet they come together beautifully in the end, emphasizing friendship, unity and good leadership.

Mahalaxmi's connection with the motherland adds depth to the story. She is a down-to-earth, adaptable person who remains friendly despite life's conditions, and she has a pure heart. Ira, despite belonging to a modern family, maintains manners that include respecting and helping others—an exceptionally beautiful soul. Aditi, initially jealous because of Mahalaxmi, proves everyone wrong by the end, highlighting the complexity of human hearts.

Overall, it's a delightful and touching read that fosters connections. This book also evokes memories of my own past, like the color kit and fairs.
